Alternatives to council housing

We advertise Leeds City Council and partner housing association rented homes.

Private rented homes can be accessed separately.  The Leeds Rental Standard is a badge developed by Leeds City Council that ensures a minimum standard is set for private landlords across the city.

Family Information Service through Leeds City Council provides a variery of information to familes regarding topics such as health, education and support.

Community Hubs are centres managed by Leeds City Council, located throughout Leeds where you can find free, confidentail and tailored support under one roof. Armed Forces Support is a scheme that works in partnership with Leeds City Council and provides support to the armed forces community in Leeds. Some of the support that is provided to regular, reservists, veterans and their familes are; assistance with council tax, school place applications and employment and skills support.

Caring For Life was established in 1987, when a group of Christians saw an urgent need among homeless young people in Leeds. A decision was made to develop a ministry to help these people.
